My New Year and relaxing in Coex

The new year has come and passed. It's now 2009. I am looking forward to having a very good and successful new year. As some of you already know I am in the process of starting up a new Internet venture and have been busy working on that in my free time. I am still able to get out and about though. Right before the new year I caught a minor cold and had to take some medicine so there was no late night partying on NYE. We got a cake and a little bottle to share and ring in the new year. The funny thing is that it is almost impossible to find a countdown in Korea on TV. We searched around and the best we could find was a countdown to E! entertainment television coming to Korea as soon as the new year hit. Anyway here was our cake that we got at Paris Baguette.

Lots of details go into these cakes which is amazing when you consider that these are all standard cakes that at all of the stores throughout Korea.
A day after the new year we decided to head to Seoul and satisfy one of our cravings for Mexican food. The place is called "Dos Tacos" and actually had English newspapers for everyone to read.
This is a pork burrito which was delicious.
After that we had to pick up a few things at Coex mall. Coex mall is a very large indoor mall located at the Samsung subway stop. Here we are enjoying some coffee at Dunkin Donuts as we watch people pass by.
